Summary

Among the different conflicts burdening the life of Spaniards, we have those whose epicentre is the contact between languages. Or rather, the contact between Spanish, official State language and of common use in our country, and each of the languages spoken at the six Autonomous Communities where there is, apart from Spanish, another official language. Indeed, one thing we have had plenty of these thirty years is language policies. Generally, these policies have had the driving force behind them, either explicitly or diffusely, and in each Community of Nationalism, creating many tensions and problems among the citizens. This book talks about all this. And it does so one Community at a time, studying all aspects related to this issue.
