Summary
Both of the main Spanish political parties agree on not recognising Kosovo’s
independence. But our troops still remain there, violating the Security Council’s
resolution that justified their deployment, supporting exactly the opposite of what
the Council approved. Are they perhaps supporting an illegal secession? This is yet
another example of diplomatic inconsistency by a Government with more prejudices
than policies, fearful of isolating itself even more than it already has after
four years of irresponsible policy.
